PlateHunt iPhone App Privacy Policy

Privacy Policy of Ken Flowers for PlateHunt iPhone App and Blog

Ken Flowers creates and distributes the PlateHunt app for the iPhone and runs this blog related to that app. We don't collect any personal data, or any data at all for that matter. We do save your game progress on your personal device, but never take that data off of your personal device. If you don't want that data stored on your device anymore, delete the app. If you are particularly worried that Apple doesn't delete data when you delete the app, you can use a rock, hammer, or similar hard object to knock the data out of it.

Some people may wonder if this app saves the location of your license plate finds. We thought about doing that so you could see your own game history, but didn't wind up doing that. The app does not use location services at all, and doesn't know where you are when you use it.

Service Providers

The app uses Apple's App Store for distribution and runs on Apple's iPhone and iPad devices. Refer to Apple's privacy policies if you want to know what they do.

This blog runs on Blogger. Refer to Blogger's privacy policy if you want to know what they do.

Children's Privacy

It's reasonable to assume that this app will be used by children under the age of 13. We do not collect personal identifiable information from anyone, including children under 13.

  2. What’s going on with the app? It’s not adding to the license plates total, when you find a new plate it’s highlighted in a light gray now and doesn’t show up in the total plates! How do we get support outside of a review?

  7. Hi Greg - Sorry you are having problems. Too much going on right now, and the app has been low priority for me recently. I plan to update eventually, but not immediately. Tell me more about what's happening for you. It used to work, and now it isn't? Is it happening on all panels? How long since you reset your stats? How many plates have you found? Anything else. I usually reset my stats every week or so with 100 or so plates, but I've never seen what you are saying.
