Missing Plates

If you think I'm missing a plate, leave a comment on this post with the details.  Even better if you have a picture.  Note, pictures are best if they are flat, don't have a shadow, are well exposed and in sharp focus.  Also, please let me know if I have rights to use the picture in the game.  Also important, if it's not your car, tell me that so I can change the numbers around to not make it a real person's plate.

    I'm just finishing with Arkansas. I'll do Alabama next. Thanks for the reference. That helps. What state are you from? Have I got that one done at least?

    Illinois has tons of varieties! I love that you have them for other states but would love our state as well! https://www.ilsos.gov/pickaplate/ At the bottom of the page is a drop down menu to pick all the different varieties. Thanks!!

      I have Illinois varieties all worked up. Look for them in the next update coming in the next few weeks.

    I was driving last week and saw this tribal plate from South Dakota that you did not have.

      Hi Niki - what a great find. I have that listed under South Dakota plates. That plate is issued by the state, not by the tribe. The plates listed under tribes are issued by the tribes themselves. Perhaps a nerdy distinction, but this is a nerdy version of the license plate game. Sorry it was confusing.

      Hope you are liking the game. Where were you when you saw it?

    What’s going on with the app? It’s not adding to the license plates total, when you find a new plate it’s highlighted in a light gray now and doesn’t show up in the total plates! How do we get support outside of a review?

      Hi Michael, thanks for the pics. Sounds like it's time for an update. I was aware of the new NY plate but not the others. I also need to fix Greg's bug if I can figure out what's going on there. Are you seeing anything like that? It's been a tough time for me recently to keep up with this little project. Glad you are enjoying it. I should also pay apple store their fee to get it back on-line.

    Even if you aren't ready to update yet, please consider uploading to iTunes again. I have not been able to use the app in a year when I had to switch phones and lost my backup. I have been logging my plates in a notes app (yes, I am sill playing, lol) in the meantime.
